Don't suppress her so much that she loses her self respect. Neither do anything that makes her feel ashamed in front of others.

Simply wanted to say those lines before beginning on what I have to say today. Abusing her would be definitely a wrong word to use, rather lets keep it short and simple as 'shouting'.
